Beaglebone Modularity

The beaglebone concept moves us closer in the direction of modular embedded computing, because of the following features:

• stacking headers for multiple stacked expansion boards
• a bootable SD card slot for OS and application software

Here is an example for an environment sensor:

The same components can be used and connected together for a different project, with a different SD card that contains the software for the different project.
